The Photography of Burning Man
The Burning Man community has created some great music, podcasts and radio stations so burners can stay in touch with Burning Man culture and news and get that fix of aural pleasure even when not on the Playa. Below is a non-exhaustive list of Burner podcasts and radio, along with music venues, artists and events that have a strong nexus with burner culture. Note that many regionals have live radio that is not featured here, because they don't offer year-round programming.

Burning Man Live is the OG Burning Man podcast and an official mouthpiece of Burning Man Organization. They're focused on topical interviews with key members of the Burning Man community and cover event-related subjects, like mutant vehicles and preparation tips, along with the impact of Burning Man off-Playa.
Burner Podcast is much more than the main podcast, which has interviews, discussions and an annual pre-Playa planner. They also have a second podcast, called The Dispatch and playlists featuring music from burners. Their website includes a treasure trove of information for burners.

Accuracy Third is focused on interviews. It's more or less free-flowing, but has a strong political slant. The interviewers - I think - all work at Burning Man and use their connections to bring in interesting people through their social network. This cast of interviewees is sometimes supplemented by listeners who write to them to share their Burning Man experiences. Their website also has some useful preparation guides.
Burning Man Podcasts
The Shadow of the Man is a relatively new addition to the world of Burning Man podcasts. Andy, aka That Andy, exclusively does interviews, with no particular agenda or plan for them, except to focus on how Burning Man has changed the lives of his interviewees. His guests span a broad spectrum of Burning Man history and include well-known burners, like Harley Dubois and Stuart Mangrum, along with lesser-known Playa personalities. My favorite episode is his interview of Adriana Roberts, of Piss Clear fame.
Burning Man Radio Stations
Burning Man Information Radio is billed by Burning Man Organization as the on-Playa voice of the Man. It's only available during Burning Man, though I think this includes Build Week and continues into Tuesday. You can listen to it on-Playa at 94.5 FM or off-Playa at its website. It's a non-stop stream of weirdness that ranges from tedious to some of the most interesting music and humans you've ever encountered. Oh, and it's a critical source of important updates.
Shouting Fire is an independent, international broadcasting collective, born on the playa and inspired by Burning Man. We are dedicated to the free flow of information and to spreading art and culture. They are a community of dedicated burners who have been broadcasting in some form or another for 20 years or so.

KFBR 91.5 can only be heard if you're really close to Gerlach, so look it for it if you're visiting the area when you're not headed to Burning Man. Like BMIR, it plays a quirky mix of music and also puts on episode of the Burning Man Live podcast.

GARS 95.1 is a radio station that broadcasts while there is traffic in and out of Black Rock City. It is exclusively dedicated to giving estimates on Exodus timelines and information relevant to entering and exiting Black Rock City.
102.3 Black Rock FM is burner music station available year-round online, though I haven't listened enough to tell if this is just replaying what they played during the Burn.
K-FLiP FM is the radio station of Burning Flipside, a regional burn in Texas. They're most active during Flipside, but broadcast online for at least a few hours each week year-round.
KWPPR is the radio station for Saguaro Man, the Arizona regional burn. They are most active during Saguaro Man, but have a few hours of streaming daily, year-round.
Radio Equinox 99.5 is the radio station for Saguaro Man, the Arizona regional burn. They are most active during Saguaro Man, but have a few hours of streaming daily, year-round.
"The sounds of Burning Man can often be unique; the din of throbbing and booming that dominate during the week, and the plaintive howls that rise up from a thousand throats when the Temple is fully engulfed."
